Cheng loses track of the kidnapper while trying to avoid changing the timeline by interacting with Qiao Ling. Afterward, Qiao Ling talks with the father and mentally ill mother and admits she saw the child in the past. Using a photo taken by Dou Dou, the duo gain enough clues to identify the kidnapper and save the child. After the reunion, the police chief asks how Cheng got into the CCTV footage and asks for help on a serial murder case. Lu Guang looks at the photos of the case, one of which is Emma's corpse.
