第8話: メデサの魔女は偉大な恐ろしい魂を運ぶのか？

Just when Maka and Soul are about to be killed by Crona, Stein and Maka's father, Death Scythe, appear to save them. The two have some trouble against Ragnarok's ability to transform every bit of Crona's blood into a weapon, but the two combine their strength and defeat Crona, who is then retrieved by the witch Medusa, Crona's master who had been observing the fight. Soul receives surgery for his injury and Stein tells Maka he will recover, but secretly confesses to Death Scythe that his body has been infected by Ragnarok's blood. Maka vows to become stronger and is comforted by the school nurse, unaware that she is in fact the witch who had attacked them. (Source: Wikipedia)
