Shiki's group and Pino attempt to leave Norma to have Pino's memory repaired, but the Aqua Wing is blocked by an energy field surrounding Norma. Weisz, who has stowed aboard the ship to evade the police, uses his "Machina Maker" Ether Gear to modify the ship to bypass the field into outer space. The group is contacted by the present-day Weisz, who reveals that Norma's time was consumed by a space monster called a Chronophage, creating an alternate history along with the young Weisz. The Aqua Wing is suddenly captured by Elsie and brought aboard her ship, the Skull Fairy. Threatened with enslavement on the lawless planet Guilst, Shiki challenges Elsie to a duel over ownership of the Skull Fairy, which is infested with shapeshifting alien parasites.
