The night before the Finals, Delia, Mimey and Professor Oak arrive at Manolo to cheer for Ash. The wild Meltan also arrive, and with their help, to everyone's surprise, Meltan evolves into Melmetal! The next day is the Finals between Ash and Gladion, a 3-on-3 match. Gladio starts with Silvally and Melmetal makes its battle debut for Ash.
