Yuma, now knowing Rei's true identity as a member of the "Barian's Guardian", decides to investigate the Barians with Rei, leaving Astral in the dark about it. On the other hand, Astral investigates his memories in the Emperor's Key to find out what he can about the Barians and runs into Number 96! A gigantic black shadow looms towards Astral, as he refuses to accept Number 96's rants that "Astral requires evil".
