May is worried about Shao Mei, explaining to Yoki about their circumstances, so Scar decides to help search for her. Edward and Ling are approached by Envy, who explains that Gluttony was a failed attempt at recreating the Gate of Truth, and that there is no exit. Envy, after revealing that he was the one who started the Ishval civil war, transforms into a giant beast.
