Edward and Ling discover they are trapped inside Gluttony’s stomach, where Envy reveals the creature was a failed attempt to recreate the Gate of Truth and admits to starting the Ishval civil war before transforming into a giant beast. Elsewhere, May worries about Shao Mei and explains the situation to Yoki, prompting Scar to join the search for her. Alphonse manipulates Gluttony into taking him to Father, who is located in Central. Simultaneously, Wrath secures leverage over Mustang by transferring his subordinates to various military command headquarters and assigning Hawkeye as his personal assistant, effectively holding her hostage.
