As the OSFT fights the Others in the Suoh area, Yuito receives a telepathic message from Wataru, who warns him that Seiran has performed a coup d'etat against the New Himukan government. A few moments later, Yuito and his group meet up with Fubuki and explain the situation to him. Fubuki admits even he lack a firm grasp on the situation, so, for the moment, he drafts Yuito's team into his unit and task them to ensure Chairman Sumeragi's safety. They're also met by Luka, who has failed to find Karen and the members from Kyoka's platoon. Suddenly, Karen transmits a message across the city's TV screens, in which he exposes the government's intention to impose a surveillance society on New Himuka and announces his allegiance with Seiran. He also urges the people of the city to rise up and overthrow the government, and as the Others surround Yuito's group, Gemma tells Yuito to make sure his father is safe. As he makes his way to the government's shelter, he finds it already overrun by Others. He stumbles upon Kasane holding a knife and standing next to his father's body and suddenly, she rushes at Yuito. (Source: Wikipedia)
