Ep. 5: Karen Broadcasts Coup News While Yuito Faces Kasane Amidst Others

During the OSFT battle against Others in the Suoh area, Yuito receives a telepathic warning from Wataru regarding Seiran's coup against the New Himukan government. Yuito and his team join Fubuki, who assigns them to protect Chairman Sumeragi after admitting his own lack of clarity. Luka reports failing to locate Karen and Kyoka's platoon members. Karen then hijacks city TV screens to expose the government's surveillance plans, declaring allegiance with Seiran and urging citizens to revolt. As Others surround the group, Gemma urges Yuito to secure his father. Yuito proceeds to the government shelter, only to find it overrun by Others. He discovers Kasane standing with a knife beside his father's corpse, prompting her to suddenly attack him.
