Ep. 8: O Passado de Souichirou e o Plano de Destruição no Tempo de Animus

Souichirou reveals to Yuuhi and Samidare that he has a wife and son and used to be a detective before growing tired of the corruption, so he quit the day Dance Dark arrived. It is revealed Animus is in contact with Shimaki and he knows Shimaki's wish for all knowledge in the universe to become an omnipotent being was rejected. Since they share a similar desire, he asks Shimaki to become his ally. They are then spotted together by Subaru and Yukimachi so Animus flees. That night in a shared dream, Animus claims that God created all things at the beginning of time, but at the end of time he was born as the God of Destruction and he is traveling backwards in time. Shimaki reveals that he planned to use his omnipotence to help the world, so he rejects Animus' offer. He also reveals the wish he made after his first one was rejected was the power to make golems, which he summons to kill Animus. He is stopped by Taiyou, who is already Animus' ally. Awakening, Shimaki keeps what he knows a secret, hoping there is still a chance to become an omnipotent God. (Source: Wikipedia)
