An incense burner was stolen while the victim, Shuko Kumado was hit and fainted then both her hands were tied. She called for help. Conan, Ran and Kogoro were just to pass by the house where the theft happened. Not long after, a ten-million yen ransom was demanded for the return of the incense burner which only worth one million.
