Currently Executive Advisor at Studio Khara.

After graduating from the Animation Department of Tokyo Designer Gakuin he joned Studio Giants, later working at Gainax during the production of Royal Space Force: The Wings of Honneamise.

He became a close collaborator of Hideaki Anno, occupying high positions in all of his productions.
