A disinterested sixth grader named Naota is dealing with the challenges of adolescence. While engaging with his brother's former girlfriend, he is struck by a girl on a motor scooter who hits him with a bass guitar and takes up residence in his home. This girl, named Haruko, claims to be an alien and pulls Naota into a covert plan by a large corporation. Additionally, giant robots begin emerging from his head. The series features surreal animation and music that strongly impacts the viewer.
