Apr 26, 2000Naota Nandaba and Mamimi Samejima share a moment under a bridge before Haruko Haruhara strikes Naota with her bass guitar, creating a horn-like bump. Rumors spread about the Vespa woman leaving marks on those engaging in perverted acts. Haruko follows Naota to the hospital, where she is revealed as a nurse, before moving into his home as a maid. Tensions rise over sleeping arrangements, leading Naota to discuss Mamimi’s feelings for his brother in America. Mamimi suddenly claims she is overflowing, causing a Medical Mechanica robot and a detached body part to emerge from Naota’s head bump. The mechanical entities engage in combat until Haruko intervenes with her guitar, ending the fight abruptly.

Jun 21, 2000Medical scans reveal Naota’s skull is hollow due to an N.O. Portal. Haruko claims to be a First Class Space Patrol Officer while neglecting chores at the Nandaba residence. Mamimi plays Fire Starter, a game where she acts as an arsonist for Cantido. After seeing the robot with black wings and a halo, she worships him as Kanti. Haruko fails to enter the Medical Mechanica plant. Fires erupt across the city, leading Naota to suspect Mamimi. He finds her performing a ritual by the river, recalling how Naota’s brother saved her from burning her old school. Mamimi asks the robot for a kiss. A robot emerges from Naota’s head, prompting him to merge with Kanti and transform into a weapon to defeat it. Naota then promises to always support Mamimi.

Aug 23, 2000Mabase mayor Ninamori faces a scandal regarding his separation, while his daughter focuses on a class play where Naota plays the cat. Naota skips rehearsal due to lack of enthusiasm but discovers cat ears growing from his head after meeting Mamimi. Ninamori flees to a train station to escape media attention, where Naota finds her. Haruko crashes her Vespa into Naota, exposing his N.O. manifestation. Ninamori touches the ears, passes out, and stays at the Nandaba home, admitting she rigged the vote for Naota’s role. The next day, they argue; Ninamori reveals Naota’s ears, and he exposes her vote rigging. This triggers a massive creature from her head, which Haruko and Kanti defeat using curry. The class proceeds with the performance despite the chaos.
4EP 4Haruko's baseball prowess and a satellite threat endanger Naota in Mabase.
Oct 25, 2000Haruko dominates the Mabase Martians with exceptional pitching and hitting, coached by Shigekuni. Naota refuses to bat to avoid comparison with his professional brother and gets hit by Haruko. Jealousy grows as Kamon and Haruko act strangely. Naota meets Commander Amarao of Interstellar Immigration and Lieutenant Kitsurubami, who warns him about Haruko. Amarao notes a satellite damaged by Haruko’s hit is falling toward Earth. It targets a light burst from Naota’s N.O. channel, triggered by anger toward his father. Naota attacks a robot impersonating his father with a bat, then revives the real Kamon with hot water. Haruko takes Naota to the Medical Mechanica plant, extracting a Gibson Flying V guitar from his head as his bat. The satellite transforms into a baseball glove launching a bomb. Naota halts the detonating bomb, but Haruko returns to swing her guitar, knocking the threat back into space.
5EP 5Naota and Kanti duel for Haruko while a giant robot attacks the Medical Mechanica plant.
Nov 21, 2000Haruko shifts her attention from Kamon to Naota, sparking Kamon's jealousy and leading to an airsoft duel with Kanti. Lieutenant Kitsurubami fails to eliminate Kanti during the skirmish. Mamimi questions Naota's feelings for Haruko, prompting a confrontation. Naota's forehead erupts with a massive leviathan robot as Commander Amarao and his gunmen engage Haruko in a gunfight. Trapped atop the robot, Naota fuses with Kanti to save Mamimi. Despite their efforts, they cannot stop the giant robot, revealed to be a gargantuan hand, from rampaging toward the Medical Mechanica plant. Kanti then manifests Atomsk's power using his EB-0 1961 Gibson bass guitar, astonishing Amarao and Haruko. He defeats the robot, which crashes into the ground and becomes a petrified monument. Kanti separates from Naota, retaining Atomsk's power, and flees with Haruko.

Mar 16, 2001With Haruko and Kanti as fugitives, smoke engulfs Mabase as Mamimi discovers a robot that grows after consuming her phone. Haruko returns to the Nandaba residence, prompting a tearful confrontation with Naota. Commander Amarao and Lieutenant Kitsurubami retrieve a terminal core from the river, which absorbs Kanti before Haruko feeds Naota to it. She intends to drill into the giant hand to extract Atomsk. Kanti halts the hand's attack on the Medical Mechanica plant as Naota emerges glowing with Atomsk's energy. Enraged, Haruko attacks Naota, but he stops her by kissing her, allowing Atomsk to fully emerge and consume the core before flying into space. Haruko initially invites Naota to space on her Space Vespa but refuses because he is still a kid. Mamimi photographs Haruko's guitar among the rubble, inspiring her to pursue photography. Life in Mabase returns to normal, though a plucked guitar string suggests Haruko might return.
