Hakuouki Sekkaroku

This OVA is set between the eighth and ninth episodes of the first season and features Yukimura Chizuru participating in a reconnaissance mission in Shimabara while posing as a geiko for the Shinsengumi. The content covers the days before, during, and after the operation, with occasional insights into the roles of various captains and some demons in the mission. Each segment is presented from the third-person viewpoint of different characters, including Okita Souji, Saito Hajime, Harada Sanosuke, Toudou Heisuke, Hijikata Toshizo, and Kazama Chikage.
