Somewhere in the desert, Raoh reflects on the growing power of Souther and his own desire to rebuild his empire. Meanwhile, as Souther's Hyenas prepare to capture Bat and Lin, they are saved by a stranger. In a small village, Kenshiro discovers that Souther's Hyenas are kidnapping children to work on his mausoleum. When another Hyena tries to kidnap children, Ken rescues them. He is surrounded by more Hyena troops, but they are decimated by rebels led by the blind martial artist Shu, one of the Six Sacred Fists of Nanto Seiken.
