Kuroro, a two-tailed demon cat of a village, is the reason behind the bad luck befalling the village, being sent into exile by a faith healer named Tesso. Shippo witnesses a girl named Koume taking away Kirara, being mistaken as Kuroro. Shippo and Koume later find Kuroro, after being hoarded with a plague of rats. Meanwhile, Inuyasha, Kagome, Miroku and Sango realize that Tesso is a rat demon who has illusive powers. Kuroro is able to reunite the two parties in effort of defeating Tesso. (Source: Wikipedia)
