A letter from Mr Eliot, a friend of Dr. Robinson from Australia turns the Robinson household upside down. An old friend urges Dr. Robinson to leave his thriving practice in Switzerland and move to the land down under, where there is a serious shortage of doctors.

Journey

Flone Robinson has no doubts about the exciting migrating and gets insomnia in the night, and finally falling asleep in marie's room. But her older brother Franz is afraid it will devastate his career plans. After first deciding to stay with relatives, Franz leaps aboard the ship and joins his family in their journey to a new life.

Flone's Change Of Heart

As the Robinson's travel down the Rhine, Franz finally decided to come to Australia with them, while Flone gets sentimental and sang a farewell song as she thinks of Marie. When a Conman on the boat see's Flone as easy prey and decide's to target her. Franz decided to do something about it and brings Flone to see the Diva.

Captain Flone

Franz's new friend Emily is distressed by a family quarrel, and may have to leave the ship at the next port. Flone gets into the act and aggravates everyone but her good intentions are recognized and everything works out in the end.

Terrifying Storm

The shipboard Christmas pageant is cut short by a violent storm. As the elements rage, the ship runs aground, and passengers escape in lifeboats. But Franz is missing, and the Robinson's are stranded on board.

Father Who Can Do Anything

Franz narrowly escapes drowning and after a treacherous night on the damaged ship, the family builds a raft to escape to an island on the horizon.

New Family

Accompanied by the captain's dog John, the Robinson's arrive on the island and set up camp. Keeping an uneasy watch the first night, Franz shoots a Possum Couscous, and its orphaned baby quickly becomes a favorite pet.

Sad Reunion

When John discovers his drowned master washed onto the beach, Franz is especially moved because the captain died saving his life. Franz and his father set off to explore the island and search for other survivors.

Haunted Woods

While Franz and Ernest scale the mountains, the rest of the family scouts for supplies. Flone's playfulness almost ends in disaster, but her mother comes to the rescue, and they find an abundance of food.

Mother's Enthuiasm

Franz and his father are overdue, and there a lot of okami stalking the forest. At night the beasts attack and Anna fights them off with a rifle and torches to protect Flone and Jack from danger.

Franz's Eyes

When he realizes they are stranded on an isolated island, Franz gives up hope. A poisonous insect bite threatens his eyesight. With his father's expert care and his mother and Flone helping, Franz recovers both his eyesight and his enthusiasm.
