After the shooting occurred, Kogoro informed the police for investigation. The police wanted to protect Kogoro but he escape instead. Asuka san get kidnapped by the culprit and left her phone behind. She ended up on a conveyor belt, sending her to a burning furnace, Conan managed to save her in time. Meanwhile Kogoro went to Shizuki Park in attempt to find Asuka san.
