Ash and his classmates are excited to see DJ Leo, a popular local musician and old friend of Professor Kukui's who plays music with his Alolan Dugtrio. After a dancing Alolan Diglett joins the group, the Dugtrio start quarreling among themselves as to which of them should take center stage.
