Ash and his classmates eagerly anticipate the arrival of DJ Leo, a well-known local musician and an old acquaintance of Professor Kukui. Leo performs alongside his Alolan Dugtrio, who are soon joined by an enthusiastic Alolan Diglett. However, the performance turns chaotic as the three heads of the Dugtrio begin arguing over who deserves the spotlight, threatening to divide the group. Taking advantage of this discord, Team Rocket intervenes with the intention of stealing the Dugtrio from the scene.
