Shin Hakkenden

A story adapted from a classic Japanese novel is set in a future where wars in heaven revolve around possession of eight moons created by a savior named Fuse. After the conflict, a single ruling family, the Oowaris, controls all moons except one—Meiten, where war is forbidden. Eight individuals, each from a different moon and in possession of a jewel representing an element of Earth, are destined to become saviors. They have all made sacrifices and are bound to fulfill their duty to Queen Fuse. When an emperor named Kai seeks to awaken a ghost that opposes Earth's restoration, the eight use their jewel-powered abilities to stop him. Their mission is to reach Kusanagi, a central ship in God's land, and gather the jewels in the key known as Yatsufusa to create Earth.
