With assistance from a goddess, he is reborn in a new world as his in-game avatar, the powerful Great Sage Zelos Merlin. Despite his abilities, he aims to live a simple life on a farm. However, he must first survive the perilous forest where he awakens, later encountering bandits and being drawn into teaching a noble girl magic. He faces the challenge of achieving his goal of peace and quiet.
