A boy named Takashi-chan dislikes carrots and makes a wish one night, unaware of the consequences. Sachiko visits Hitomi's countryside home under the guise of seeing a friend, then boards the last bus to avoid staying overnight, only for something to happen. Yuka lives with her parents and younger sister Eri, but feels unsettled and suspects a forgotten memory. Miya is trapped in an elevator during an earthquake when a woman claims a shinigami is present before dying. Minori joins a school club trip to a mountain lodge known for UFO sightings, where she meets her cousin Naoki and feels recurring déjà vu.
