A city where life and death intertwine is home to Lithia, a boy with no memory of his past, and Setsu, a scarred hitman who lives with him. Setsu is kind, often dressing Lithia in red, and laughs in a way that unsettles Lithia, as if on the verge of crying. Their quiet existence is disrupted when Romanée appears, a man who seems to have detailed knowledge of Setsu's history.
