Tamako Love Story

Two separate narratives explore the emotions of Tamako and Midori during their final year of high school, as well as Choi's efforts to find a bride for a prince on a southern island. Tamako is preoccupied with mochi while Mochizou plans to attend college in Tokyo, and Midori observes them with her own concerns. Meanwhile, Choi, working with the round-shaped Dera, attempts to locate the prince's future bride through fortune-telling without success. Their search takes a new turn when they discover a specific document in a national library while investigating clues related to fortune-telling. Some aspects of these stories from the novel will not appear in the film adaptation.
