Wanted to pursue a career in anime after having seen Princess Mononoke while still in high school. The art depiction of the movie's setting made her want to become a background artist.

She entered the industry in 2002, and joined Studio Who, a background art studio ran by Tsutomu Fujita. Later she joined Studio Easter and worked on many of A-1 Pictures' projects, most notably making her debut as an art director on Idolmaster. She has since served as an art director on Your Lie in April, Occultic;Nine, Horimiya among others.
