Hijikata suspects that Gintoki has connections with the Antiforeigner Faction, so he orders Yamazaki to investigate Gintoki's affairs. Yamazaki questions Gintoki's friends, but he isn't able to get anything out of them. At his wit's end, Yamazaki ends up visiting the Jacks-of-all-trades.
