A red sky and a black moon signal the arrival of monsters roaming the streets, drawing Satsuki Kakeru into a perilous situation that transports him to an unfamiliar world. There, he encounters four others in the same predicament, and they unite to survive and explore their new surroundings. Their efforts are complicated when six shadows emerge, determined to kill Kakeru and his companions.
