The knight initially overpowers Kakeru, but while protecting Yuka, Kakeru’s powers awaken. He successfully defeats the black knight opponent, securing their escape from the immediate threat.

Invidia traps them in a cyclone, revealing explosive blood. She reveals that she killed Tajima Takahisa, shocking everyone present.

Shiori reveals the truth about the Red Night and Liselotte's sealed past to Kakeru and Misuzu.

Shiori informs Kakeru and Misuzu that Lisette is actually Liselotte, who wishes to destroy the world alongside her lover Verard. Sixty-four years ago, Index sealed Liselotte, causing her Disciples to become the Black Knights who guard her seal. These knights seek the seven Void Stone fragments, now gathered during the Red Night, to break the seal and open Hell's Gate. While Yukiko seeks vengeance for Tajima, she is killed by Superbia after the latter extracts the fragment from her body. Yuka, having fainted after nullifying monsters, later retrieves the fragment from the Black Knights and places it into Liselotte's seal. This action destroys the seal, allowing Liselotte to awaken and end the world.

In Yuka’s world, with the black moon approaching, Kakeru and Misuzu prepare an intimacy-based ritual to boost his abilities. Misao Kusakabe appears, reporting the deaths of Avaritia, Abraxus, and Shiori, implying similar fates for the pair. After Misao dies, Yuka emerges, but Kakeru is stabbed by Liselotte using Yuka’s body. Liselotte absorbs Kakeru, Misuzu, and the eye of Aeon, recalling a discussion with Verard about world destruction. Yuka claims a happy ending, which Kakeru rejects.

As the world shifts and Yuka is absorbed by a bed, the group finds Liselotte has sealed Yuka in crystal to stop her nullification power. Kakeru surrenders to Liselotte, while Shiori and Abraxas attack unsuccessfully. Two Black Knights arrive: Superbia shields Kakeru, and Avaritia stalls Liselotte. Abraxas gives Shiori’s fragment to Kakeru, enabling a plan to seal Liselotte using the Eye of Aeon and the fragment’s space-time abilities. The Red Night returns, and Misuzu draws Doujikiri Yasutsuna. Velad’s voice urges Liselotte against destroying the world, but she seeks the Emerald Tablet fragment. Misuzu and Misao counter Liselotte’s power as she disappears. Kakeru reappears, seals Liselotte with the fragment, and she is drawn into the rift with Avaritia. Yuka is freed, the Red Night collapses, and Misao returns Kakeru, Yuka, and Misuzu to the World of Peace, where others have forgotten the events. Misuzu invites them to Ayanas, and Kakeru sees the Black Moon remains, ending with the text 'Akarat on jon holnap?'.
