A new threat emerges in the form of the Death Busters, who seek to dominate the world during a time known as the Silence by obtaining three Talismans capable of summoning the Holy Grail. Rei foresees this danger and warns the group. Meanwhile, two new Sailor Senshi, Sailor Uranus and Sailor Neptune, attempt to locate the Talismans themselves, though they do so without the assistance of Sailor Moon.
