Canaan

A Japanese photographer working in Shanghai partners with her companion to uncover newsworthy events. During a local festival, unusual incidents draw them into a conflict involving masked individuals and a mysterious woman with white hair. As the photographer becomes endangered, a former acquaintance named Canaan rescues her. A larger scheme involving a lethal virus emerges, prompting Canaan to face unresolved aspects of her history to prevent the threat and protect those close to her.
