With Serra gone, the Quatre Knights and Kourin turn their attention towards Kai and his group. When Kourin steps up to fight, Naoki volunteers to face her. As the battle continues, Kourin reveals how she came to be by Aichi's side. She resolved to support Aichi by absorbing the seed's power whenever it would try to seep out of Aichi; Kourin's absorption resulted in her being able to use Link Joker for herself. Nonetheless, Naoki is determined to bring both Aichi and Kourin back and reform the Cardfight Club. He defeats Kourin, who is about to fall over but is saved by Aichi.
