With Serra absent, the Quatre Knights and Kourin target Kai and his allies. Naoki volunteers to battle Kourin, who explains her origin: she absorbed the seed's power leaking from Aichi to wield Link Joker. Despite this advantage, Naoki remains resolved to rescue Aichi and Kourin while reestablishing the Cardfight Club. He defeats Kourin, who collapses but is caught by Aichi. After Kourin faints, Aichi and Kai share an intense stare.
