Dai Yamato Zero-go

The Milky Way is one of over ten billion galaxies in the universe, and Earth is part of it. In the year 3199, the Milky Way is attacked by a powerful force from a nearby galaxy. This enemy overpowers the combined military of the Milky Way Alliance, a coalition of spacefaring nations, and defeats them repeatedly. The Alliance is reduced to only six remaining fleets. Following the destruction of its central command, the Great Yamato "Zero" unexpectedly takes action and joins the effort to support the Alliance in a final decisive confrontation.
