Ergo Proxy

A sealed city known as Romdo experiences unexplained murders and a virus affecting AutoReivs, mechanical beings that serve its inhabitants. Detective Re-l Meyer investigates these incidents as they increase in frequency. Her search for answers leads her to Vincent Law, an immigrant who disappears, and a mysterious creature that appears to her. This entity seems connected to Vincent and hints at a larger mystery. As Re-l follows the clues, she is drawn into Vincent's journey toward another enclosed city named Mosk. Together, they travel through a ruined Earth, seeking to understand the creature and the meaning behind the "awakening," which may signal an ending rather than a new start.
