Magic Kaito

A teenage student named Kaito Kuroba learns of his father's secret life as an infamous criminal known as the Phantom Thief. His father was killed by an unknown organization for refusing to help them obtain the Pandora Gem, a mystical stone said to produce a tear during a specific comet's passage, granting immortality to whoever consumes it. Determined to stop the organization, Kaito takes on his father's identity and begins searching for the gem. He discovers it glows red under the full moon and is a doublet, hidden within a larger gem. It must be large, have an unusual history, and be stored in a place without moonlight. Kaito investigates and steals valuable gems with strange backgrounds from highly secured locations, returning them after the next full moon.
