Apr 17, 2010Eight years after remission, Kaito Kid robs a jewelry store, prompting prankster magician Kaito Kuroba to pursue him. Kaito discovers a hidden room containing Kid’s gear and learns Inspector Ginzo Nakamori is guarding the Moon's Pupil. Suspecting his father Toichi Kuroba was the original thief, Kaito dons the costume to confront the current thief, Jii Kounosuke. Jii confirms Toichi’s identity and reveals his death was murder. Kaito decides to take over the role and escapes with Jii. The next day, Kaito admires the stolen Moon's Pupil when Aoko Nakamori startles him with a fish. He tosses the jewel into the fish’s mouth, allowing Inspector Nakamori to retrieve it while cooking dinner.
2EP 2Kaito uses a date with Aoko to create an alibi for his second heist attempt
Aug 6, 2011Inspector Nakamori suspects Kaito is the phantom thief Kid after spotting him during a failed theft of the Angel Crown. Kaito leaves a calling card for a second attempt, prompting Nakamori to share his suspicions with Aoko. She plans to take Kaito on a date at Tropical Land on the day of the heist to prove his innocence. Kaito realizes he can use this outing to establish an alibi while executing the robbery. During a movie screening, he slips away to successfully steal the crown using a perfect disguise, which confuses Nakamori. He returns to Aoko before she notices his absence, and she expresses relief that he is not the thief.
3EP 3Princess Anne hosts a magician party and challenges Kid to steal her necklace in Japan.
Aug 13, 2011European Princess Anne travels to Japan with Detective Delon to host a party for magicians. She publicly challenges Kid to steal her jeweled necklace, the Beaucoup de Soleil à Paris. Sep 24, 2011Witch Akako Koizumi discovers Kaito Kid is the only man unaffected by her magic mirror. After transferring to his school and failing to charm him on Valentine's Day, she predicts his next heist to confront him. She traps Kid atop Tokyo Tower within a magic circle, demanding he eat her chocolate to enslave his will. However, falling snow disrupts the spell. Inspector Nakamori, influenced by Akako's magic, attempts to shoot Kid but strikes a gas tank instead. The resulting explosion knocks Akako from the tower. Kaito saves her life, persuading her that enslaving others through magic is wrong, before departing.

Oct 29, 2011Following a successful heist, Kid receives a warning to cease stealing gems. After being seemingly killed by Snake, the group steals the gem and flees. Kaito pursues them, discovering they seek the immortality-granting Pandora jewel, hidden in a large gemstone visible only in moonlight. Realizing the Blue Birthday is not Pandora, Kaito vows to destroy it first. Unable to reach Aoko in time, he uses apartment lights to spell out her birthday greeting. Meanwhile, the organization hires the magician Spider to counter Kid.

The two agree to switch places. Kaito and Aoko win the contest dressed as Kaito Kid and his bride.
