Enraged, Yuri vows to save Rika and end this mad world. Believing that Yuri is in trouble, Mayuko runs. Only then, a pair of "that person's" Angels attack her, but The Sniper saves her. Kuon wants to use her railgun, but she would be in danger. Knowing that they are at a tough situation, Yuri comes to the rescue. One of the Angels launches grenades at them, but Yuri destroys it, leaving everyone in awe, knowing that Yuri is a God Candidate. Yuri then shoots one Angel dead, while the other was reporting to "that person" but ultimately dies to The Sniper. Yuri is concerned that Mr. Mask becomes an enemy again, while glad that Mayuko is okay. Kuon introduces herself to Yuri and confirming that they are Candidates. Kuon tells Yuri that if she's still susceptible to Mask attacks, The Sniper Mask should keep a distance, but won't run away from Kuon. Kuon hopes that Yuri can save him from being consumed. They talk about their goals of ending the realm and desiring peace. Elsewhere, Rika is finally taken to "that person" whose name is Mamoru Aikawa, a God Candidate. Aikawa talks about his Eugenics approach to the new world -- the strong live, the weak die -- and wants Rika to ally. Rika, finding that idea absurd, falsely agrees with him, but Aikawa threatens Rika. They go to a rooftop, where Aikawa explains that in order to be the Perfect God, a Candidate must go to the railgun tower. Aikawa believes that his loyal team can supplement him to be God, while Rika hopes that Yuri can beat Aikawa. As Kuon wonders the connection between Mr. Mask and Rika, a helicopter flies over the city. It halts at the helipad Aikawa is at, then flies away. Aikawa confirms that the angry-masked Angels, or Guardian Angels, are trying to prevent Candidates to become God. (Source: Wikipedia)
