A renowned tenor in early 1900s Vienna, Dimitri Lewandoski dies in an accident, only for his body to be taken over by vampire seeds. Initially unaware of the transformation, he gradually realizes the horror as those around him die. Centuries later, in 2008 Tokyo, Azusa Kikukawa faces a tragic end to her romantic struggles.
