Julio uses the dark kirakiral inside his body to power up his Dark Rod and repel the Cures' attacks. Just then, Ciel recognises Julio as her twin brother, Pikario, who launches an attack that causes the girls to fall into a cave filled with kirakiral. Ciel explains how she studied in France with Pikario, until one day he declared a hatred of sweets and disappeared. As Julio resumes his attack, he expresses his resentment towards Ciel for having more talent as both a patissier and a potential Pretty Cure than him without recognizing his feelings, which led to him being turned to the dark side by Noir. Sensing that the real Julio is somewhere amidst the darkness, Ichika has the other Cures power her up so she can withstand Julio's attacks and understand his true feelings, managing to return him back into Pikario.
