Ep. 22: Julio Wields Dark Kirakiral Power While Ciel Confronts Her Lost Twin Brother Pikario

Julio empowers his Dark Rod using internal dark kirakiral to repel the Cures. Ciel identifies him as her twin brother Pikario, who once studied with her in France before vanishing after declaring hatred for sweets. He attacks, sending the girls into a kirakiral-filled cave. Julio vents resentment over Ciel’s superior talent as a patissier and potential Pretty Cure, a grievance Noir exploited to corrupt him. Ichika senses Julio’s true self within the darkness and has the other Cures power her up. This allows her to withstand his assault and comprehend his emotions, successfully reverting him to Pikario. While Ciel mourns her inability to help, the fairies discover a mysterious shrine in the cave.
