While Hadaebou scales the Murakumo, Hachiro is confronted by Itaru's Destiny's Passage and Rinne Magoroku's Adamantite Tower, but he uses his Dojutsu and they withdraw. Meanwhile Namemba recalls her youth and time with Rui, and their escape when their village was attacked. Hadaebou finally reaches Tadanaga, and tries to convince him to return to Edo.
