Ep. 17: Hibiki confronts Oboro while Rui confesses to Utsutsu and Hadaebou reaches Tadanaga

Hibiki identifies the woman she sees as her mother, Oboro, who holds Kouga Gennosuke responsible for her fate. During a pause in the battle against the Rain, Rui unexpectedly expresses her love for Utsutsu. As Hadaebou climbs the Murakumo, Hachiro faces attacks from Itaru's Destiny's Passage and Rinne Magoroku's Adamantite Tower, but he employs his Dojutsu to force them to retreat. Simultaneously, Namemba remembers her youth with Rui and their escape following a village attack. Hadaebou eventually reaches Tadanaga and attempts to persuade him to return to Edo.
