Inuyasha empathizes with Shiori, recalling of his gruesome childhood past. When Shiori discovers Taigokumaru is responsible for the death of her father Tsukuyomaru, she provides Inuyasha the means to annihilate her grandfather, by act of the Backlash Wave, and to acquire the ability to break barriers, by destroying the Blood Coral Crystal.
