At a construction site, the Detective Boys excluding Conan found a man dead. Kogoro got free hotel voucher and brought Conan along with him. Police arrived and Mitsuhiko informed Conan that the victim is a serial blackmailer called Unmo Sadakazu. As Conan is not around, the Detective Boys follow the police to check the suspects' alibis.
