在遙遠未來，或許仍稱為地球的星球上，曾經爆發過一場機械化肉體的武士之間的戰爭。經過長期戰鬥後，脆弱的和平終於降臨。位於劍村的農民們，面臨飢荒與機械化賊匪「Nobuseri」的襲擊，決定尋求武士的保護。村中的水女祭司Kira、她的妹妹Komachi，以及悲傷的村民Rikichi，帶著僅存收成的稻米，踏上招募武士的旅程。經過艱險的考驗與一些運氣，他們成功聚集了七位擁有不同技能與背景的武士，共同守護村子，對抗賊匪與支持他們的商人。
