Jaden feels depressed because he lost his duel to Aster and can't see his cards anymore (still not knowing it's because of Sartorius' spells). His friends decided to stick together, knowing that Crowler will want to use Jaden's absence as an excuse to tear down the Slifer dorm. Atticus showed up at the dorm to tell Alexis that Crowler wants to turn the siblings into a singing pop duo, but when she refuses, they settle it with a duel.
