Jaden remains depressed following his defeat to Aster and the mysterious disappearance of his cards, unaware that Sartorius’ magic is responsible. His friends unite to protect the Slifer dorm from Crowler’s attempts to dismantle it during Jaden’s absence. Atticus arrives to inform Alexis that Crowler intends to force the siblings into a pop singing duo. When Alexis rejects this proposal, she challenges Atticus to a duel. She defeats his Warrior deck, but the events lead Jaden to decide that he will quit Duel Academy.
