Kuwabara watches over Yusuke in the hotel room, Kurama spectates the fights, and Hiei goes to the seashore to improve his technique. Team Toguro utterly slaughters this team with minimal effort. Genkai meets with the Younger Toguro in the forest, mentioning a conflict between them from fifty years ago.
